Are you wondering how to make your garden a better space for you?
Owning a garden should be a wonderful thing. But for many their garden causes stress and confusion, guilt and procrastination. Is this you?
There area three main issues faced by homeowners who are not happy with their garden.
1. An ugly or uninspiring garden
2. A garden that can’t be used because it is not fit for purpose.
3. A lack of knowledge on where to start, what to do and how to make it happen.
I can help!
If you have an ugly garden, it can be transformed by removing or hiding ugly features, I can create beautiful new focal points to draw the eye away from that ugly shed, or the neighbours wall. A simple lawn shape can make the garden look much bigger, and make the garden feel more inviting and a space you want to be in. I all need practical parts to our garden, but they don’t have to be on full show outside the kitchen window. I can create space to hide away the bins or the washing line, Carefully chosen plants will bring new life and create a beautiful oasis that invites you to come out, sit and enjoy the space outside your back door.
If your garden is unsafe, with wobbly steps, or a patio that needs relaying, or is too small for your garden table and chairs, I have Ideas for hard landscaping to ensure the garden is safe, I can create paths to keep your feet dry, or a patio large enough for the whole family. I can design retaining walls to help you level out your slopes and sensible safe steps to give you easy access around the garden. I can give you ideas to make it easy to look after, such as raised beds, and low maintenance planting.
If you don’t know where to start, I will be your guide.
I will be with you throughout the whole process if you wish. Firstly I work with you to create a brief. I ask you lots of questions about what you like, how you want to use the garden, who else will be using the garden, such children, older relatives and pets, what style of garden you might like and how much time you want to spend relaxing and having fun in the garden. And if you love to garden, or would rather do as little maintenance as possible. With all this information, and armed with your ideal budget, I put a plan together for you to view. I discuss the plan in detail, tweaking it until you are happy. Once you are satisfied with your new garden plan, I can help you find a contractor to put your plan into reality. I have 15 years of experience, working with contractors to get gardens built, and can guide you through the whole experience from start to finish.
First I need to come and see you and your garden to discuss the project you have in mind…
