ABOUT KAREN HOLLEY

Holley Design is based in Weybridge and can
take on commissions throughout Surrey and
surrounding areas. Our fees are normally charged
as a firm quote for a design concept, a percentage fee, or hourly charges for
additional work undertaken. We are happy to see the job through from initial brief
to selecting a contractor until final approval on finished construction.

Karen was born in Walton-on-Thames and now lives in Weybridge with her husband. After completing a Surrey University BA Hon Degree, Karen worked for National and International companies, latterly for IBM as a Marketing Manager, where she qualified for her Marketing Management Diploma.

On reaching her 30's Karen wanted to follow her childhood dream of working in an artistic field, and enrolled in a Design Diploma course at the JJA Academy for Art Design in London, where she studied both practical and theory of Interior and Garden design. Whilst studying Karen carried a number of projects including; Kitchen and Bathroom redesigns, and a bathroom to bedroom conversion. She has completed a number of small to medium size garden redesign projects, in surrey and London and some planting plans for small suburban gardens.

In her spare time Karen is Chair of the Barn Theatre Club in Molesey, Surrey , where she acts, directs, and designs sets. Karen has travelled extensively and especially enjoys expedition holidays where she can soak up the local culture.
